Sneakin' Veggies

Why was I so chill about my kids refusing everything but fruit loops and turkey jerky for dinner last night?

Was it because I had two very full glasses of delicious wine? Probably. But mostly, it is because I went full-on nutrition ninja on them at lunch.

What do frozen avocados, frozen spinach, and chia have in common? Besides being super healthy, they all made it into my picky eaters' tummies for lunch.

Turns out, if I mix these 3 ingredients into a smoothie with lemon, agave syrup, water, frozen berries, mango, and pineapple, my kids are none the wiser... at least until they are mature enough to handle the reality of my magic skills.

I may not win every food-based battle with my boys, but with snack hacks like these... I will surely win the war. Muah-ah-ah-ah (maniacal laughter).

Please share your smoothie recipes here, send me a message, or tag me in a social post (@cookie.be.clickn)! Mama needs some ideas before these boys catch on to my schemes.
